Suditi Industries Ltd. has announced the ap pointment of Harsh Agarwal as Chief Exec utive Officer of Gini & Jony, following formal Board approval and notification to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The move signals a new phase for the 45-year-old kidswear brand, with a renewed focus on innovation, expansion, and deeper consumer engage ment. Harsh Agarwal succeeds Prakash Lakhani, the founder and former CEO, who led the brand since its inception. Lakhani will now transition into a mentor ship role within the organisation. Agarwal outlined his ambition to position Gini & Jony not only as India’s leading kidswear brand but also as the most trusted name in the broader chil dren’s ecosystem. “The needs of India’s children and parents in this space remain largely unmet. There is a significant opportunity to create entirely new expe riences,” he said. Agarwal’s short-term focus includes rebuild ing momentum through agility and a first-principles approach, re-evaluating industry norms, and devel oping modern retail solutions to meet evolving mar ket demands. During the initial phase of his leadership, Agarw al intends to be closely involved across all areas of the business — from product development and retail operations to technology integration and customer engagement.
